How to Order Our Antiques

When interested in an item, contact us or call 202-332-3370. We’ll be happy to send you additional photos or provide more information about the item. The Brass Knob accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal, as well as personal check and cash payments.

When a customer confirms they want to purchase an item, we will email a PayPal invoice which can be paid with PayPal or any major credit card. This invoice will include any packing and shipping, or delivery, charges as well as any tax due. Some clients prefer to pay by check. Sending a check is fine. Additionally, we do not ship items until the check has cleared and we do not hold items more than one week for clients who prefer to pay by check. We do not accept partial payments or deposits to hold merchandise.

Delivery and Shipping

We will be happy to provide a quote for packing and shipping, or for a delivery, if you are in the Washington DC metropolitan area. All items at The Brass Knob, except hardware, are professionally packed for shipping. Delivery and shipping charges must be paid before an item leaves the store.

Terms of Sale

All merchandise purchased from The Brass Knob Architectural Antiques can be returned, if there are no alternations or damage, for a full refund within seven days of purchase, unless purchased during a sale or discounted ALL SALES ARE FINAL AFTER SEVEN DAYS. All custom orders and discounted sales are final sales and non-refundable. The Brass Knob is not responsible for items left more than 30 days after purchase. Deposits are non-refundable after seven days. All shipping, packing, and delivery charges are non-refundable.
